Issho’s appearance is based on the fictional character Zatoichi who is a blind swordsman that carries a "shikomizue," a cane sword used for walking and fighting.

Rosinante is the name of the horse of the fictional character Don Quixote, the protagonist of the story El ingenioso hidalgo don Quijote de la Mancha made by Spanish author Cervantes.

Roger’s controversial execution was similar to Olivier Levasseur, a famous pirate known for allegedly hiding a treasure and leaving behind a cryptogram regarding its whereabouts during his public execution.

1. Sora and Shiro's surname was said to be "Nai" by the author. This can be interpreted that their surname literally is Nai or that they have no surname, Nai in Japanese literally translates to none. Which is likely a reference to [blank].

2. There was a poll with every anime character ever! That Sora was in the top 5.

3. Shiro's and sora can be written together to worm the word blank.

4. While Sora was your "average" child, it can be inferred that Shiro was under the care and studious eye of the government due to her intelligence.

5. Even though it isn't a parody anime, No Game No Life references several different games and anime such as Persona 4 even showing a badly made Chie from the game.

6. Following the references the anime Yu-Gi-Oh! Was also in no game no life as sora held cards in reference to the god cards.

7. Out of all the races created by the Old Deus to kill each other, only the Flugel's and the Ex-machina actually succeeded in killing one.

10 Anime Facts in Death Note

1. L’s surname, Lawliet, is pronounced as ‘low light’.
2. Ohba had to kill of Naomi Misora early. Initially, he wanted a cool female character to balance out the heavy-male cast but she ended up being too smart – piecing the Kira case together faster than he anticipate.
3. The font L uses is Old English Text MT.
4. L holds objects the way he does to get minimal fingerprints on them – a habit he picked up from being a detective for so long.
5. Light and L are pretty much depicted as opposites – right down the fact that Light uses a PC and L uses a Mac.
6. In episode 2, when the International Criminal Police Organization begin their meeting you can see that they each had a sign that said their nationality and name on them. All the names are actually names of famous soccer players from each of their respective countries
7. After Light and L’s fight in episode 18, many fans asked if L was using capoeira (which is a form of dance fighting). Ohba hadn’t intended for L to be using similar techniques, but he liked the idea so much he declared it canon.
8. In the Death Note pilot manga, there’s a special tool known as the Death Eraser. It can erase names in the Death Note and revive everyone who had been killed by the Death Note.
9. Although in Death Note 13: How to Read, L’s intelligence is ranked below Light’s and Near’s, when Ohba was asked about this he replied saying that the smartest is actually, “L, because the plot requires it”.
10. Near and Mello were almost L’s twin sons. Ohba had considered this, but the idea was later put aside as he felt it was too out of L’s character. Although… Mello did inherit L’s sweet tooth and Near was given the hobby of stacking objects as a development from L’s habit of stacking sugar cubes.

10 Anime Facts in Dragon Ball Super

Fact 1 - Goku challenges Jiren to a fight and poses in his stance: Goku is attacked by another member of Jiren’s universe. As Goku takes the attack, the member and Siren both escape as they can save their kin.

Fact 2 – Caulifla compliments her sister, Kale.

After witnessing the damage and how powerful her sister is, Caulifla compliments her Kale for what she did. However Kale doesn’t even know what she did or what happened. It seems the dramatic and overcoming transformation caused her too much fatigue for her to even remember what happened.

Fact 3 – The Pride Troopers Appear

Goku escapes the attack and ends up meeting Kale and Caulifla after heading back up from underground. Upon his discovery, Toppo’s “Ginyu Force” arrives as well to finish them off.

Fact 4 – The Pride Troopers aim to defeat Kale.

Kale is the Pride Troopers target because she defeated Vuon. So they decide to target her out form Goku and Caulifla.

Fact 5 – Master Roshi’s Lightning Flash Sur

prise Attack!

We switch over to Master Roshi and he unleashes this attack that paralyzes the enemy and himself, then Then pops up to deliver the finishing blow.

Fact 6 – Universe 7 Reunites. Not everyone, some of Universe 7 reunites after being split up from Kale’s rampage. Those people are:

• Master Roshi
• Tien
• Piccolo
• Frieza
• Vegeta

Fact 7 – The Pride Troopers showcase their abilities.

Each Pride Member has a special ability and the attacks showcased are:

• Ability to create a Tornado Spinning tehcnique
• Ability to trap an enemy in a dimension
• Ability to control your own weight
• Ability to summon multiple ki balls and attack at once (similar to Piccolo)
• Ability to create weapons from energy.

Fact 8  – Android 17 and 18 show up!

As Goku, Kale, and Cauliflwa are struggling against the Pride Troopers, Android 17 and 18 show up to help them out.

Fact 9 – Android 18 Frees Goku and Knocks out a Trooper.

Android 18 helps to free Goku from the Weight control Trooper and knocks him out of the ring. And preventing dominating with the villains.

Fact 10 – Kale turns into a regular Super Saiyan.

Being trapped inside the dimension and watching her sister suffer, Kale turns into a regular Super Saiyan instead of going berserk.
